    FISHBOT is a computer-based, interactive fish identification tool created by the Auburn University Museum Fish Collection. Rather than using a static key as a way to identify fish it allows users to input as few or as many characteristics as they want. FISHBOT then provides all possible species that fit these parameters plus photographs, range maps, and comparisons so that the species can be identified. FISHBOT then leads the user a page with a complete description of the species, more photographs and a map.
