Jacobs from the Department of Psychology, University of California, and was published in Visual Neuroscience 3 (1989) pages 119-125. It has been posted on the Web with permission from Cambridge University Press. Colour vision tests were conducted on 3 domestic dogs (Canis familiaris) and the results of the experiments reinforced the conclusion that dogs have dichromatic colour vision.
